IWED Events is a full service wedding and event planning company based in Richmond, VA. Our services extend throughout Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL and beyond. Our ultimate goal is to make all of our clients dreams a reality; whether they are planning the wedding of a lifetime or a simple family get-together. With over 20 years experience, creativity, education, professionalism, and know how our staff has what it takes to make the wedding or event of a lifetime.
We normally start our process with your inquiry. You can inquire about our services online or via phone. We will ask you a few questions to get a general idea of your wants and needs and from there we will schedule a consultation - in person or over the phone.
During your consultation the main focus is YOU! We want to get to know you! We will discuss the details of your wedding or event and how we can make your dreams a reality. After the consultation we will send you a detailed proposal outlining the services you've selected. Once the proposal is accepted and the details are in place the planning can begin!
Once you have reviewed and accepted our proposal we will send you our Contract and Agreement and an invoice for our non-refundable retainer fee via email. Once both of these processes have been completed and returned to us, your date will be official booked and we can get started making your wedding or event dreams a realty!
During this process we will work on all the logistics of your wedding or event. We will provide timelines, reach out and recommend vendors, assist with the overall design and more (based on package selection).
